Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

light duty schedule

Firefighter, injured on way to a call, seen by Dr. and released to light duty. My question is in regard to Title 28, part 2, 129.6. My normal schedule is 24 hrs on duty and 48 hrs off duty; the light duty is Mon. through Fr. 8:00am - 5:pm. Does this rule 129.6 apply equally to all Tx employees, or just in certain circumstances. The 5-day work schedule is unduly burdensome considering that my life is chedule around the 24 - 48 for 24 yrs. Thanks
