Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas
Loss of hearing.
I have worked in shipyards and shops until I had to retire 1/31/2000. My hearing was bad when I retired. I have just had it checked and they said working in the noise has damage my hearing so bad I have to have a hearing aid. This damage was done on the job, will workman comp. pay for this since I'm retired? The doctor said my hearing was very bad, and I can't afford hearing aids.
