Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

paid leave

Have returned to work from a comp injury to a alt/light duty assingment.I am being required to use my paid leave to attened follow up vists and/or continuing treatment related to the On the job injury. Is this required or should W/C be painy for this time.

It depends on whether or not you have reached maximum medical improvement yet and been given an impairment rating. If you have, then sick pay or paid leave is the way to get paid. If you have not reached MMI, then work comp should be paying any lost wages that result from the injury.
