Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

permanently disabled on job and almost ready to retire

How does one proceed finding out what rules govern workers compensation? Someone is injured on the job with a 30% permanent disability, is 63 years old and due to retire in two years. What are they entitled to through workers comp?
