Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas
wage claim
My employer failed to pay me because of a ''lack of funds.'' They did not fire me, however I cannot work for free. How do I go about collecting pay and am I owed paid vacation time? Is there anything else I can do?

Call Texas Workforce Commission where you apply for unemployment benefits..

The insurance carrier pays for any temporary income benefits you were entitled to. Did you file a claim? Did you contact the Division of Workers' Compensation?
