Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas
Workers Comp surgery x2
My brother in law hurt his back at work, had surgery... He's been back to his doctor, (not the WC Doc), he's saying the surgery wasn't done completly and needs to get it fixed. WC wants him to try cortizone shots and thearpy first. He's got bone rubbing bone, so it's not going to do much good. He's in pain but not as much as the pain WC is putting him through.
Is it his right to have them go back and corrected the problem?
Should he contact a lawyer?

Re: Workers Comp surgery x2
He could call the Division of Work Comp...but he really heeds a lawyer and if the doctor is not a work comp doctor, he has to pay the bill...work comp insurer should pay for lifetime meds..but most workers do not want to pay a lawyer andthey lose their rights...he could call us to discuss
