Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas
workman comp personnel rude
I work for san antonio hospital I take care of patients that are disruptive and have for years you just never know when you will be hit by one. a patients push me down i fell and I knew my back hurt but it only got worst after a few days I have a witness so I reported it to my boss she then sent me to an inhouse doctor were he gave me vicotin after a few days i decided to go to my own doctor when i took the paper work back to the office my workman personnel advise me that this was a recurring injury and that i might not be able to work there for long and when i contacted my doctor he said it was not the same injury but that injury was covered for life. This personnel spoke to me in such an unprofessional manner that i feel like maybe after these two week on leave i should really leave I have not made a claim in close to 10years we are ask to report injuries then we are insulted can they treaten in this manner. do I have a case if i should stay.

You should contact a work comp attorney now..if you don't and you need medical care, and weekly checks you will not collect..or call the work comp commission for help....No one can make others treat you with kindness..but you have the right to work comp benefits IF YOUR EMPLOYER HAD work comp insurance
