Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas
Wrongful Termination
We had an employee quit. I was offered a raise to do both her job as well as mine. I turned it down. My boss just informed me that I will do all the work until they find someone else. Do I have to do it?

Re: Wrongful Termination
What kind of company do you work for? If they need work done, and you can do it..why else should one be there?
A company only makes income from doing what it must...and if no workers, it would seem the company would close..so the company will look for employees who will do what is needed...No you don't have to do it but the company does not have to keep you on a payroll
