Legal Question in Administrative Law in Trinidad and Tobago

My grandmother passed some 30 years ago, her will was never probated ,she had left some 5 acres of land to be divided amongst 4 daughters and 1 grandson. With the passing away of my mother recently, I found out that one of my aunt was appointed by the courts to be the legal rep.for the land . This being said I was told that the beneficiaries of her estate can make no claim to her postion of land . I do have the original will of my grand mother, which states the following Joint Tenants (share and share alike ).I have also received a copy of the memorandum of assent from my aunt stating herself and the other surviving siblings as joint tenants. Is this correct that we have no claim the the land even though it was clearly know by all relatives that this should have been distributed evenly.

An attorney at law would need to review your documents in order to advise you properly as there are issues of joint tenancy that would need to be looked at carefully.
