Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Trinidad and Tobago
my father made me quit my job after 3years of working for someone. he offered to buy me a vehicle in which i would use to work taxi. he bought it and it was placed on my name. there were NO agreements or any sort of payment plan as such. he said it was his gift to me. after 6months, he sent a letter from an attorney stating that i have 14days to pay him the sum of $103,000 or legal actions will be forced upon me if i fail to pay.how should i go about this? What should i do?
