Legal Question in Family Law in Trinidad and Tobago

i recently stopped my daughter father from seeing her for the fact that he does not support her financially she is 15mths he always have her around this drug smoking friend and illegal gambles .He recentyl had a confrontation with my family the police was called in and he said he wanted nothing to do with her now he is fighting for her in court. how do i deal with that ? I want full custody of her.
