Legal Question in Employment Law in Trinidad and Tobago

If my work contract states that I am not supposed to work or be associated with any other job in this field and I am given an opportunity to start a small business in the same field, and I chose to be a consultant and spear head the project, not putting my name on any legal documents. How can I start my own business legally? I know I will have to leave this company first or is there a better way

You will be in breach of your employment contract if you start to work in the same. You will have to consider your options and determine what is in your best interest.
