Legal Question in Construction Law in United Arab Emirates

Dear Sir,

I'm Abdul Majeed I'm running a company (Shamma Electromechanical Cont. Co. LLc)I'm facing problem with main contractor to get the payment, they kick me out from the site without any further notice then iligally they are bringing some supply company to work? what can i can do? I need your help? Please advise me..

Hi,

If payments are due to your Company from the Main Contractor, you can proceed legally against them by approaching a competent Court of Law. For this you would have to produce necessary proof by way of Agreement/ Contract to show that you were entrusted with execution of the works and proof of having executed the same. If you were terminated before completion of the work entrusted to you, you can seek appropriate compensation, but this depends on the terms of the Agreement/ Contract executed with the Main Contractor.

It would require perusing the Documents available at your end to give a more precise opinion in the matter.
