Legal Question in Consumer Law in United Arab Emirates

Hi,

I was undergoing a laser treatment with a dermatologist in sharjah to get rid of my facial hairs.Though she never gave me a guranatee in written about when will my hair stop regrowing forever,but she definetly said it would get lighter and softer as we move with the sessions.It has been 24 sessions now and i have got all my hair back and that too more darker and thicker. I wasted around 12000 dhrms over my traetment and there has been no positive results at all.Do I have the right to ask for my money back?

From the facts mentioned by you, it is seen that the treatment meted out to you was ineffective and so there was no positive expected results. In fact, the treatment seems to have worsened the problem.

In my view it is a suitable case for not only seeking reimbursement of the amounts paid, but also a fit case for seeking Compensation from the Dermatologist, for faulty treatment.
