I am tempted to blow off your question - I have no clue what the law is in Dubai - except: If the worker died from work related causes, AND the worker was in California when the job offer was made, AND the worker has dependents, then there could be a California workers compensation death benefit of up to $300,000. If all of these apply, call me.
