Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in United Arab Emirates
I live with my mum and siblings on a council estate, for the past 18 months we have been miserable living here. There is a clique of neighbors in the avenue, they are continuously harassing and intimidating my family. We have reported them to the housing association, and in some cases we have had to report them too the police. We feel really let down as the housing have not acted when we have made a complaint. We have received a letter saying they have received complaints which has breached our tenancy agreement. The people in the avenue have took this trouble into my brother school and have hounded my mum and informed people there that she is a grass. We've lived here for 23 years and have never caused trouble or breached our tenancy agreement. It has got the point where it has caused my mum to have poor health, she no longer leaves the house, only to take the boys to school which she does 30 mins earlier to avoid seeing people. We feel as if were being bullied and feel like every are believing false allegations especially the housing. They saw how ill it had made my mum and still did nothing. How do we stand on this and is there anything we can do?

Dear Sir / Madam,

Always live with pride and without fear of Society. Be objective oriented. Ignore and overlook the actions and deeds of the clique of neighbours in the locality who stand to suffer for their own misdeeds.
