Legal Question in Business Law in United Kingdom
MSC cruises have just announced COMPULSORY addition to our fully paid up bill on a cruise we booked a year ago. We understand we now have to pay an additional 6 euros a day per person, i.e 12 euros a day as there are 2 of us, as a compulsory deduction for tips.. MSC will take this out of our registed credit card at the end of the cruise. Can MSC just add on charges after we have paid?

a contract was formed when you booked the cruise and unless it had a term allowing for an additional charge there is no entitlement to now ask you to pay a further amount.
