Legal Question in Business Law in United Kingdom
I am owed money
I am an IT contractor and my last contract ended 01/09/2006. Lexus Computer Associates have not paid the last 18,000 they owe me. I am using a solicitor and because I used an umbrella company between me and the agency (to pay my taxes etc) I have to sue the umbrella company and not the agency direct. This is getting very expensive and getting nowhere. I don't want it to get to the point where the costs come to more than the amount owed.
I want to be able to send the Bailiffs to force them to pay - is this or something similar possible?

Re: I am owed money
Although I appreciate this slight complication, that is no reason for a debt claim to become prohibitively expensive.
The answer may well be for you to act in person and carry out as much of the work yourself under our guidance.
If you would like to contact us by e-mail I will be pleased to further consider with you what would be involved
