possibly being Sued as a corporation

Have done some carpentry work as a sub contractor for a corporation, they owe me money.

company says the customer is complaining they are ill because of wood being cut indoors and want compensation or will sue, will the company have insurance that will cover this or will it come out of the compensation/money if sued come out of the company

It probably makes little difference. In all probability the corporation will have insurance and will recover from their insurance company. The difficulty is that the insurance company will then inherit the right of action in respect of any negligence and are then likely to pursue this in the name of the corporation.
