Legal Question in Business Law in United Kingdom
water leak
while working at a proptey a water leak accored damagoing the dinningroom ceiling and light fittings. The leak was from and old fitting but because i had been working on that bit of pipe the customers is now sueing for damages to the proptey. where do i stand please in retrospect to blame. Thank you

it would appear from what you say that the water leak did not result from your negligence and as such you must file a defense to the claim that has been made against you.
