Legal Question in Consumer Law in United Kingdom
New conservatory with problems 6 months after installation!!
We had a new conservatory fitted to our house over 6 months ago. we have encountered many, many problems since installation.
The problems are so few, but list a few:
3 sets of new doors as they kept leaking.
Having to have our floor raised 6 inches as the conservatory was too high.
Damp problems.
Plus many many morew.
How long do we have to allowthe installation company to keep coming back & forth?
As it seems when they overcome 1 problem another occurs!!
we are now 6 months down the line, when we were told the conservatory would br finished within 3 days!!Help! Can someone please advise!!

Re: New conservatory with problems 6 months after installation!!
There would appear to be clear breaches of your consumer rights under the Sale of Goods and Services Act which entitle you to bring an action to recover damages for the loss suffered in your local county court.
You should write a letter before action to this company advising of your loss and defects and if a satisfactory response is not received issue proceedings. If you require further help please let us know.
