Legal Question in Consumer Law in United Kingdom
Good title
Do I enjoy good title of a vehicle or caravan if I make a private purchase in good faith. What claim if any does an HP company have on the goods. What is the position if the goods have been stolen.

Re: Good title
I am afraid you will have bought this vehicle subject to any other claims over it. Thus if it was stolen, the seller had no title to pass to you, and if subject to HP it will not belong to the seller until such time as all payments are made.
