Mis Selling a service
We were sold an audit service with the supposed backing of Which magazine. A month later the company has gone into administration and was not linked to which mag.The service was not as sold to us.We have sent a proof of debt form to the administrators.To get our money back,�1260, who can we take to the small claims court?

There can be little doubt that you have a claim against the providers of this supposed service. Such will be in breach of contract and probably also in misrepresentation. However the company is in administration and probably insolvent. Although you would be able to obtain a judgment for the amount this would be of little value to you. Reluctantly therefore I have two advise that you must accept that this money is probably lost. You may eventually receive some small payment from the administrator that this is unlikely to be the full amount.
I do not believe from the information provided that you have any claim against Which magazine.
