vehicle finance

i purchased a motorcycle on finance and later found out it was a category c write off. now i cant part exchange it for another motorcycle because it`s deemed worthless. i still have finance outstanding on this motorcycle that i do not want to ride. why was i not told about this at the time of purchase from the garage i bought the bike and why was i able to get finance for this bike and who is responsable for my loss

You have every entitlement to have

both the contract for purchase of the motorcycle and the credit agreement set aside. You will be required to return the bike whereupon you may claim the return of your deposit and payments made less the value of any benefit from the bike.
