Legal Question in Criminal Law in United Kingdom

Financial Rights of My Child

My son played for a football team for 6 years , and has payed into the teams account (not the clubs , the teams). Now he is no longer required and the managers have turned down my request for his share of the teams bank account .These club officials have chose not to resign him therefor i feel he is entitled to his share of the money in the boys account .This is not the clubs money , solely the boys .I am not alone in this problems , there are several other children in the same predicament , each only wanting thier fair share of the money they have payed into the team .Money which was to come back to the boys in the form of trips , equipment & trophies. The clubs officials have been asked to repay the boys money but refused point blank , this is why I feel they are criminal in thier actions.

Re: Financial Rights of My Child

To appreciate your position, you need to look at the contract for your boy's services. If there is no written contract, the circumstances giving rise to his services will probably create one. However, I cannot advise you properly unless I have an appreciation of one or the other. If there is a contract, then we will need to look at its terms and in particular the accounting for the boy's payments in. In any event a criminal prosecution will not help you to get money back directly. Best first to look at the position from a contract point of view and take things from there.
