Dear Sir / Madam,
Since the person involved in the drunken driving accident escaped with just minor bumps and bruises, you may get away the first time with the Court ordering you to incur the fine and pay for the medical expenses of the person hurt. A note is made of the offence on your Driving Licence in the Police record.
If the drunken driving offence recurs and you are again caught, be prepared for your driving licence to be impounded, and face imprisonment as well.
