child visiting rights
i have a criminal record for drugs violence ect that was 10 yrs ago. my daughter is 5 and my ex pertner is withholding visitation to control my life. any suggestions? my child wants to see me and it is breaking my heart.

Incidents in your past will not be presumed by a court to affect the advantages to your daughter of knowing and having regular and meaningful contact with her father. Your daughter has the right to see you and the refusal by her mother to allow this will be condemned by the court.
You should hesitate no longer and apply to the court for a Contact Order. The procedure and package containing all you need for this application are available from our website.
