my divorce papers were ear marked that my husband has to pay me part of his pensoin will i receive the amount in a lump sum and will i have to go through a lawyer again

it would seem that you will receive the pension payment automatically when due without the need to take any further action yourself. You should however confirm the position with the trustees of your former husband's pension.
