I have 2 daughters who are not biologically mine. My youngest 13yrs old wishes to stay with me what do i need to do legally . Also we have a joint mortgage on a house my husband wishes to keep it on but cannot afford to buy me out, do we have any other options as i am happy for him to keepit on but do not want to lose my investment. we are not entitled to legal aid . we have been seperated for 8 mths. married for 3 yrs living together for 10 yrs. many thanks for any advice.

Consideration must be given to obtaining either a residence order or a special guardianship order. Which will depend upon the individual circumstances on which I would need more information.

As to the property following divorce this would seem like a 'Mesher' Order would be appropriate. The property would then be sold at a later date to provide you with your share or an agreed sum.
