how do I get custody of my grandson, the father is absent,my daughter cannot take care of the baby. I live in Va. and the baby lives in Trinidad.

You would need to sue for custody of the child in Trinidad where the child currently resides. Obviously, that would require your hiring an attorney

who is licensed to practice law in that particular jurisdiction.
