family law.
daughter struggling with solicitor costs. baby 19mths father controling and abusive also jehova witness.baby not. he wants full weekend contact but daughter works mon to fri. he now has 6hrs on sunday. daughter terrified of him and implications of religion. major problem with solicitor costs. 6 mths in so far paid �1600. 2 hr hearing due in sept. we paying half at mo but cant be long term. are there any alternatives available or help toards cost?

Children proceedings such as this usually require little legal input as the sole intention is to decide what is in the child�s best interest. As such there is usually no reason why a parent can not act in person and avoid legal costs which would be better spent on the child.
