Legal Question in Family Law in United Kingdom

A Fathers Rights

what rights does a father have to access to his child,my fiancee left me after a fight, she threw wine and coffee over a brand new sofa,i slapped her across the face but she became hostile and attacked me,lashing out at me, i slapped her again to calm her down, and at one point had my hand around her throat, but she left our home and has taken our 9month old baby with her to her mothers home.the only access i am allowed is 30-45 mins a day after work which has to be at her mothers home, i am not allowed to bring my baby to my home which is 5mins away,at weekends i'm allowed 4 hours only on a sunday,i cannot have her overnight, i am not allowed to take any toys and clothes which i had purchased.i do not wish to continue seeing my daughter at the home of my ex as there is still hostility and anymosity present which i feel will impact my daughter later in life.i love my daughter very much and wish to have access to her for a lot longer than i do at the present.i have parental responsibility, but my ex is saying that i have no rights and cannot do anything without her say so,please help me, i miss my little girl.

Re: A Fathers Rights

You are missing your little girl, and I am sure that she is missing you. Your baby is fortunate in having a father who clearly cares for her and a court will act in her best interest I ensuring that her father has regular contact and is able to play a part in her upbringing. Differences between you and the mother will not be allowed to spoil your daughter's right to a father.

You should apply for a contact order without further delay. For information on how this is done and explanation of the relevant law is contained within the legal zone DIY Children Proceedings Get available from our website. The link is
