Legal Question in Family Law in United Kingdom

Hello

If myself and my husband are splitting up and his about to move out of the marital home and he earn 3 times my monthly salary how much will he need to contribute to the household bills, he has said he want it split 50/50 but this would leave me with no other money to last the month. Can you please advise if this is correct.

Hi Paula

Certainly your husband would be required to pay sufficient for you to live and pay all bills. Over and above that it is not possible to say without knowing far more about your circumstances.
