my sister has booked to come on holiday for a week with her daughter, but the father who she is seperated from has gone to a solicitor for a cout order to stop her, can we do anything

I am sure that any court would find that it is in your sisters daughter's best interest to come and visit you and refuse to make any orders preventing this. However it may well be that you will need to formerly answer the application and if you require assistance with this or representation at court please let us know.
