Legal Question in Family Law in United Kingdom
I was hoping for some help! I am currently going through a divorce and trying to get the clean break order signed by the ex but she has delayed it by almost 6 months with no end in sight. What options do i have? As it seems i am sat waiting, paying mounting fees and getting no where. She has been told what she is entitled to and that she can have it. So what can i do to get her to finally sign.

There is only one option where a matrimonial financial order cannot be made by consent. That is to apply to the Court in the proceedings for the them to make an Order. I suspect that this should have been done months ago as she would seem to be walking all over you.
I would accordingly advise that give notice of intention to proceed to the Court with the only caveat that you first have proper advice on your financial entitlements. Most probably once an application is made and time limits set you will find that agreement is possible and the order can be made by consent.
