can one person force the other to sell their home in joint names when that person left the relationship and home 5 months ago. the personremaining it is their only home person left has more homes

The answer is yes. Under the Trusts of Land Act a Court on Application by a Joint Owner can make an Order that the property be sold. Further information is available and help if needed at our website at www.legal-zone.co.uk.
