Legal Question in Family Law in United Kingdom

international family law

My sister is a U.S. citizen who is married to a British citizen and living in the U.K. What are her rights if she wants to move back to the States and take her son with her? And can her husband stop her?

Re: international family law

Unless there's a U.K. court order which would prohibit her making such a move, or one which would require your sister to first seek permission from the court, the answer is very likely the same as it would be for someone in the States in a similar situation seeking to move to the U.K., i.e. she could take the child and leave any time.
