legal fes

if i wre not entitled to legal aid would i be able to pay my legal bill at the end of a case. a settlement of equity in a house is in dispute and will possibly be going to court and cannot afford to pay fees until settlement

If as is not uncommon you are unable to obtain public funding (legal aid) you will be responsible for the costs of any legal representation you choose to instruct. Whether those instructed would agree to postpone payment until you receive a settlement is a matter for negotiation with them but I have to say in my experience this would be unusual.
