What is my legal rights
I separated from my wife in January 2004 and am now divorced.She recently received a tax rebate of �3500 from the tax year 2002/2003.We have 3 children and have both been p.a.y.e during our 15 years of marriage and both worked in full time employment.Am I entitled to make a claim on her rebate as we were married and living together for the years of the rebate???

This depends on whether or not an order has been made by the court dealing with ancillary financial matters consequential to the marriage. If not you are entitled to make a claim for financial relief and the amount falling into the pot for distribution will include the rebate. Let us know if we can help further.
