Legal Question in Family Law in United Kingdom

I live with my partner (14yrs now) we have three young daughters and he has an adult daughter from another relationship. We have just been informed he is dying. Who is his next of kin as his father is claiming it is him. (he hasn't even bothered with my partner for over 26yrs)

Your partner's next of kin are his children. He MUST consider making a Will now to ensure that his estate passes to whom he intends.
