Legal Question in Family Law in United Kingdom
Money that i earned was not given to me by my parents.
my father owns a restuarnt and i was working there for several months. My parents told me that they did have the money that i earned and when i asked for it they refused to give it to me. so i want to know is there any way of getting my money of them using the law?

The law entitles you to apply to the court for money owed to you. You may indeed do this but should be aware of the eventual outcome. Firstly a court might well consider that this was a family matter outside of the jurisdiction of the court and that the agreement that you should work for your father was not legally enforcible. If you are able to persuade them that this was not the case but a commercial arrangement between yourself and your father a claim will be entered.
If proceedings for this alleged debt are served on your father, it is likely that he will counterclaim against you. The counterclaim could well be the cost of maintaining you as a child, and supporting you thereafter. This will be a very significant amount.
My advice to you is to grow up and not feel that you can resort to the law when anybody upsets you. Talk to your father in a mature fashion and I am sure this can be resolved.
