Legal Question in Family Law in United Kingdom

A mothers contact with her baby.

My daughters expartner and his parents have taken my daughters son, who is 14 months old, and will not let my daughter or any of my family see him unless we go over to there house. Can they do this and how can my daughter get contact with her son?

Re: A mothers contact with her baby.

This certainly is not allowed and your daughter has every right to be with and care for her daughter. It may well be necessary to apply to the court for a residence order and if you require our assistance with this, much of the information you require is available from our website or through our advice and assistance service.
