recently seperated.our house is in my husbands name and he wants to sell the house but i dont.what advice can you give me.we have a 13 yr old son.we both work fulltime and i want to stay in the house as its our family home

it is essential that you register a notice of matrimonial home rights over the property without delay. This would prevent your estranged husband from selling or dealing with the property. If he is not paying you maintenance for yourself and your son you may also have to consider seeking a maintenance order and if he attempts to remove you from your home, an Occupational Order.
