Legal Question in Family Law in United Kingdom

Re-registring the father on a birth certificate

My partner was never named as the father on the birth certificate when his daughter was born. His daughter is now buying his house in which he is leaving the deposit for her but due to money laundering rules she has to prove that my partner is the father for them to accept the cheque. How can we deal with this matter? And also is there anyway you can re-register a birth certificate so that the father can be placed on. The mother has no objections to this. Thank you so much for your help.

It will be necessary for you and your daughter's father to prepare and swear statutory declarations dealing with the issue of paternity. I am presuming that the payment is to be made to a firm of solicitors and their obligations under the money laundering regulations will be met by appropriate statutory declarations.
