Re: Selling House
In circumstances such as this where a joint owner of property will not co-operate or even discuss matters, there is little alternative to making an application to the court for an order for sale.
As a joint owner of property which is no longer required by you for the purpose for which it was acquired-to be your home, you are entitled to the property being sold. It is important that you should not delay in applying for a sale as you will not receive any advantage from the mortgage payments which you are making.
It is not difficult to make the necessary application and full particulars with examples to guide you through the process are available from our website at the following link.
