Separation
My husband and I are living in the same house but living separately, he does not give me any money towards anything and I am living with my 10 year old daughter off my child tax credit and child benefit he is threatening to get married again and kick me out, We have been married for 13 years and the property is in his name, what rights to I have and what can i do to secure financial assistance and security from him.
I have been suffering with emotional, financial and verbal abuse for 10 of those years

The rights you have as a spouse in these circumstances are considerable and clearly you need to exercise them. What needs immediate action is to register a matrimonial homes charge against the matrimonial home to stop your husband from dealing with it or moving someone else in. You should also apply for an order that he properly maintain you. Above all you have to decide whether this clearly unacceptable position can continue and whether you are in a divorce situation.
