my wife is seeing another man while still living in the marital home.home is in joint ownership an d i have three dependant children

I am sorry to hear of the actions of your wife. These do not however have any affect in law on the ownership or occupation of your matrimonial home. You must decide whether the marriage can possibly continue and if not whether this is a divorce situation. If so it will then be necessary to decide on the financial matters resulting from the marriage being dissolved and the future care of the children.
