Legal Question in Family Law in United Kingdom
I have been seperated 4 years 3 months , i do not know where my wife lives and i pick up my kids from a mutual meeting place.I have two boys who i have stay with me every other weekend and half of all school holidays. I have sent her divorce papers before when she lived at the family home over a year ago, she left it owing 12,000 in unpaid mortgage arrears, the house is solely in my name and i have had to take on the arrears because the house is in negative equaity.she refused to let me know where they moved to. I pay the CSA by direct debit at the 1st of every month and have never missed a payment. I have asked her move forward on the divorce but she says by text that its not her priorty.
Can i get a divorce without her say so ?

your wife's irresponsible behaviour would appear as unreasonable behaviour sufficient to ground a divorce petition. Providing that you can prove service of a petition on her there would be no need to obtain her agreement. Alternatively you could wait until you have been separated for five years.
