Can a will be contested if

mother and father* have a son and daughter..

daughter marries and has 3 children but dies tragically when children are 7,9.11 years old. Son is a batchelor who lives with his parents in the parental home until they die. He is as far as anyone knows is the sole beneficiary He then dies and leaves his estate to his great nephew (*the great grandson - the son of the eldest son of the daughters 3 boys) The 3 of the daughters children still survive that is the mother

Re: wills

far more information will be required before it is possible to provide an opinion on the entitlements to these estates. It will in particular the necessary to obtain a copy of the will of the mother and father and consider whether any of the interested parties have an entitlement under the Inheritance (provision for family and dependants) Act 1975.

We will be pleased to consider the matter further if required.
