Lending money
i lent a large sum of money to a friend who is now very difficult to get hold of. I havent seen any money back despite several promises. i have receipts and documents from the bank to show i transferred the money to their account and also that nothing has gone back in. is there anything i can do legally? it has now caused some financial prolems for me. thank you.

it is always so sad when a friend lets you down in this way. However you have very clear a legal rights and sad as it may be, the only prospect of recovering your money is likely to be resorting to the courts.
